Club Community
American Pillars
American Pillars represent our extended Hong Kong community. Over many years, the Club and the pillars have worked to develop platforms to engage fellow Americans and the Hong Kong community to foster a unique social connectedness. Today, we are proud to celebrate the Club’s 100 years with these great institutions.

In 2017, The American Club Board of Governors made a strategic decision to harness the resources of the Club community to make a difference in the lives of the vulnerable and underprivileged in Hong Kong. In 2019, The American Club Foundation (“ACF”) was formed to make the Club’s social impact efforts more effective, targeted and sustained. Since January 2021, when the ACF received its Section 88 charitable institution tax exempt status, it has been engaged in executing its mission to fund, guide and support communities in need and environmental sustainability through grants, volunteering and education.
